We met on the first day of high school when Jesse walked in 15 minutes late to our first period English class. Through many shared classes and Saturday night hockey games, we slowly became friends. However, it was not until we left for college in 1997 that we start dating.

Four years later and many many flights between Cal and Duke, we both decided to spend a year in San Francisco before heading to graduate school.  As luck would have it, we got into grad programs at USC and made the move to Los Angeles in the fall of 2002. We currently live in Los Angeles, where Jesse is a filmmaker, and Allison is an attorney for the Screen Actors Guild.

We got engaged on April 7, 2007 at Crissy Field, on the San Francisco Bay. We look forward to seeing everyone on our wedding day.
